Thread: Masterbilt Pipe Identification

    Default Masterbilt Pipe Identification

I have a brand new pipe that I want to list on EBay. When I bought it, it came in a Gefapip box, so I didn't look closely enough to notice that it wasn't a Gefapip. It is a nice, thick walled pipe, with a beautiful grain pattern. The only markings on the pipe are 'Masterbilt Imported Briar'. I can't find any information on this brand at all. Can anyone help identity this pipe???

The book "WHO MADE THAT PIPE?" lists Masterbilt as coming from the London Royal Corporation, with a date of 1946. I do not know exactly what the date indicates, but assume it is the first year of production.
