C&D Burley Flake 1-2-3-4

Since I smoke primarily burleys I have been wanting to try these. When the DG group went to C&D last week they gave each of us two tins of tobacco. My bag had the Burley #1 in it so I bought a tin each of the other three.

I ain't no tobacco reviewer,it's either I like it or I don't and I'm really not good at explaining why!!. No. 1- I don't like. Think it may be the Perique which doesn't seem to agree with me to well. It bites me and burns my nose!! No. 2,while it has Perique is some better but I haven't decided if I like it or not. No.3 which is just Burley and Virginia is Better. Doesn't bite me and I believe this would make a good change of pace smoke for me. No. 4,even though the Latakia comes through a bit strong to me I like. Thinking I might tone it down with some PA or CH .This and Walnut are the only blends with Latakia I have tried that I like.

I like them in this order: No1, No4, and No2-3. No1 was my favorite when i first smoked it and I think that it's better than G-H dark flake unscented. BTW, i like your reasoning when discussing tobaccos.

Well,the No. 1 is outa here,shipped it off to a friend over at DGCF.Traded it for some Edward G. Robinson,which I'm pretty sure I like.Tried the No. 4 again,still to much lat.One of these days I'll chop it up and mix it with somethin'.

Have you tried the house burley blends by Milan, ozark? I've tried the 101 and 401 and really like the 101. Sounds like you might like it too.
