Default In praise of nasal snuff

Just to get this part of the forum underway, let me put a word in for nasal snuff. My favorite is Gawith Apricot, which I gather is one of the stars. I have quite a few dozen different ones, including several 8-pack Sharrow samples from marscigars.com.

Snuff works fine in settings like airplane cabins, conferences, and movie and play theaters.

I tried some Old Navy snuff last year and it didn't quite suit me. Maybe it was the brand I tried. I've got some free samples of snus coming sometime this month so maybe that will work for me.

I like it now and again, as noted, at times and places where smoking is not allowed. Perhaps more often, I may add a tiny pinch of nasal snuff to a bowl of pipe tobacco for a little extra flavor.

I've never given snuff a Try, perhaps I should.

My sinuses have been acting up of late and I remembered ythat a friend had sent me some Pöschl Menthol with Columbia oil snuff - been many years since I last used snuff - it was a fad briefly in the 70s when I was a student and powdered tobacco was all that we stuck up our snouts. So I tried some tonight - wonderful. Aside from the soothing vitamin N, I can breath easily again .

I used to have a snuff - forget who made it or what its name was - that had sandalwood oil and cedarwood oil in it. That stuff was heavenly...

One in a while I quite enjoy it, but that is indeed a rare occurrence. Like Drifter though, I do enjoy a pinch added in with the pipe tobacco.
