Default OTC mix, match, blend ... anyone?

I've been playing around with blending Smoker's Pride tobaccos amongst each other and adding other over the counter brands to the mix. Has anyone else done this, and what where the results?

(So far, Black Cavendish and Carter Hall make an interesting half and half blend ...)

Ive done a little

The cherry can be mixed with just about anything as long as you watch the amount added
The whiskey can be used to calm down a rough course smoking tobacco and will add just a little flavor to a bland tasting tobacco

They do as good a job of mixing as the other lane products do

I've mixed CH and Smoker's Pride Vanilla Cavenish 50/50 by weight which I let meld in a mason jar for 2 yrs. Not bad for an every now and then smoke. My favorite mix, which I smoke quite often everyday, is PA & CH 50/50 by weight.

Never tried any of the Smoker's Pride blends, although I got a free sample of one of them recently with an Etailer order.

I have mixed CH with H&H; KC with CH; SWR with H&H; SWR with Capt Black Cherry; uh..you name it, I tried with those basic OTC blends. To me it is one of things that makes them so good. In almost any combination, as well as on their own, they smoke well for me.

I only blend like to like, i.e Middleton to Middleton, Pinkerton to Pinkerton. It seems to me that there are already too many variations within a tobacco house, let alone mix from other houses. I do like KyClub Blue and Sugar barrel, as well as PA and Sugar Barrel. I'm not much of a CH fan. My favorite is still ERRd and 5Bros, but the smoking of it is limited due to shrinking ERRd stores.
